Westland Hospitality began with a simple idea: preserve the character of Fort Worth’s most cherished dining spots while exploring fresh possibilities for future generations. Our founders, longtime friends who grew up near the Westland area, saw how rapidly the local food scene was changing. They wanted to ensure that community favorites, like the neighborhood hamburger stand or the classic Tex‑Mex institution, remained a vibrant part of Fort Worth’s identity.
As time went on, we brought more beloved concepts into our family, including a local nursery, an old‑school custard stand, and an Italian eatery that had served the community for decades. In each venture, our goal was the same: to honor the story behind each place while creating a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels at home.
When we merged with Magdalena’s Catering and Events, our vision for a fully integrated hospitality brand came into focus. We could now coordinate everything from casual weekend gatherings to upscale receptions, all under one umbrella. This step not only enhanced what we offered, it allowed us to stay true to our original mission of serving Fort Worth with authenticity and heart. Whether it’s burgers on a patio or a formal catered affair, we believe every occasion should reflect the genuine warmth this city is known for.
